Job description

• Implement nursing interventions as outlined in the care plan and carry out nursing procedures according to the care needs of the client;
• Provide training and supervision to care staff;
• Co-ordinate with other team members and update them on the changes in the client's condition and needs;
• Prepare clinical documentation, monitor outcomes of services, and perform escalation of cases if there is a need for more acute management of clients;
• Provide ongoing support and education to the caregiver, client, and family;
• Carry out other responsibilities and duties as assigned from time to time, including coverage of other Staff Nurse in other facilities if necessary.

Requirements:

• min. Diploma / Degree in Nursing from a recognized tertiary institution
• Possess min. 3-5 years prior working experience in orthopedics / geriatric / home care nursing experience from a healthcare institution
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Team player and able to work independently
