Job summary

A major healthcare institution in Singapore is seeking a Patient Service Associate to provide quality front-line services to patients. Responsibilities include patient registration, scheduling appointments, and assisting clinical staff. The ideal candidate should have a passion for patient care, good communication skills, and be willing to wear PPE. Candidates with healthcare or customer service experience will be preferred. Diploma holders may be considered for a senior position soon.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in healthcare, hospitality or customer service will be an advantage.
  • Willing to be attired in PPE and be mask-fitted.
  • Willing to undergo rostered routine testing swab when required.
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Job description
The Job

You will provide prompt and quality front-line services to patients. You role will involve registration and scheduling appointments for patients and collecting of payments from patients. You will also assist nursing and clinical staff with patients related activites such as room assisting and provide clerical support to the department. You will also be trained to perform oral, mid turbinate or nasopharyngeal swab and collecting the specimens for testing when deployed in pandemic roles as and when required.

Job Requirements
  • GCE 'O' or GCE 'N' Levels, preferably with Certificate in Office Skills
  • Diploma holders may be considered for the Senior Patient Service Associate position
  • Prior experience in healthcare, hospitality or customer service will be an advantage
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong passion to serve the patients
  • Willing to be attired in PPE (personal protective equipment) and be mask-fitted
  • Willing to undergo rostered routine testing (RRT) swab when require
