  • Perform month-end closing and prepare management reports (P&L, cash flow, forecast).
  • Prepare and submit GST filings.

Job description

We are a recruitment firm with a strong focus on contract hiring and payroll services. We are looking for a hands‑on Part‑Time/Freelance Finance Executive to manage our finance function end‑to‑end. This role is ideal for someone who prefers flexible hours and enjoys working independently in a small team environment.

A key focus of this role is client billing, cash flow management, and credit control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations
  • Prepare and issue client invoices, manage AR aging, and follow up on overdue payments
  • Manage contractor payroll, CPF contributions, and tax clearance where applicable
  • Process internal payroll, commissions, and staff expense claims
  • Perform month‑end closing and prepare management reports (P&L, cash flow, forecast)
  • Prepare and submit GST filings
  • Support year‑end financial statements, corporate tax filing, and audit requirements
  • Maintain accurate financial records and liaise with external vendors (tax agents, auditors, banks)
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
  • 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Experience in recruitment, staffing, payroll, or services industry preferred
  • Comfortable handling end‑to‑end finance independently
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g. Xero or similar)
  • Strong follow‑up and communication skills, especially for credit control
