Job summary

A Singaporean accounting firm is seeking a seasoned accounting manager to lead its accounting teams and manage client portfolios. Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in outsource accounting and audit.
• Minimum of 4 years in a supervisory/managerial role managing 3 or more members.
• Proficient knowledge in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards.
• Good understanding of Singapore payroll and taxation regulations.
• Experience with various accounting systems.

Job description

Job Scope:

• Lead accounting teams
• Provide guidance to team members
• Handle portfolio of clients, including assignment of jobs to teams and team members
• Responsible for billings and debtor management for portfolio
• Review work by accounting teams
• Managing team workload to meet client deadline

- Where possible or required, this would include negotiation with

the client on deadlines and corresponding fee adjustments

• Propose resolution steps for issues that may arise with clients
• Report to director on the following

- Issues that arise with clients

- Anticipated issues that may arise (eg Deadline not able to be

met)

- Time spent by teams on jobs

Required experience:

• At least 10 years of experience in outsource accounting and audit, of which a minimum of 4 years of experience in a supervisory/managerial role of 3 or more members
• Proficient knowledge in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards
• Good knowledge of Singapore payroll and taxation regulations
• Knowledge and practical experience with various accounting systems
• Member of a professional accountancy body (eg ISCA, ACCA, ICAEW, CPA Australia)
