Qualifications

  • 8+ years of strong hands-on experience in Oracle Database Administration.
  • Proven L3 support experience in enterprise or mission-critical environments.
  • Deep expertise in Oracle ExaCC, including migration and operations.
  • Strong experience supporting Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) databases.
  • Advanced skills in Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience leading incidents, RCAs, and technical decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Perform deep-dive root cause analysis (RCA) and implement fixes.

Job Title: Oracle Database Administrator – L3 (ExaCC / EBS / Core DB)
Job Summary

We are seeking a Level 3 (L3) Oracle Database Administrator to provide expert-level support, architecture guidance, and escalation management across enterprise Oracle platforms. This role owns Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer (ExaCC) environments, Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) databases, and core Oracle database administration and provisioning, with accountability for stability, performance, and continuous improvement in mission‑critical systems.

Key Responsibilities
L3 Operations & Escalation Ownership
  • Act as the final escalation point (L3) for complex Oracle database incidents and production issues.
  • Perform deep‑dive root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to L1/L2 DBAs.
  • Drive service improvement initiatives, automation, and standardisation.
Oracle ExaCC Cloud Management & Migration
  • Own end‑to‑end Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer (ExaCC) operations and architecture.
  • Lead on‑premise to ExaCC migration strategies, execution, and cutover planning.
  • Optimise ExaCC performance, capacity, and availability.
  • Work closely with cloud, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure compliance and resilience.
Oracle EBS Applications Management & Upgrade
  • Lead Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) database administration and lifecycle management.
  • Plan and execute EBS upgrades, patching, and technology stack maintenance.
  • Resolve complex EBS performance and integration issues.
  • Support cloning, refresh, and environment synchronisation across DEV / SIT / UAT / PROD.
Oracle Core Database Administration & Provisioning
  • Design and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions (RAC, Data Guard).
  • Lead database provisioning, upgrades, and platform standardisation.
  • Oversee backup, recovery, and DR testing strategies using RMAN.
  • Ensure database security hardening, patching, and audit compliance.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 8+ years of strong hands‑on experience in Oracle Database Administration.
  • Proven L3 support experience in enterprise or mission‑critical environments.
  • Deep expertise in Oracle ExaCC, including migration and operations.
  • Strong experience supporting Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) databases.
  • Advanced skills in Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience leading incidents, RCAs, and technical decision‑making.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Oracle certifications (OCP / OCM) highly preferred.
  • Experience in financial services or regulated environments is an advantage.
  • Exposure to automation, scripting, or cloud operating models is beneficial.
