Optics Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Optics Engineer to be part of our R&D team. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes for optical components and systems. The ideal candidate will have 2 years background in optical engineering, manufacturing techniques, and quality control processes, ensuring the production of high-precision optical products.
Process Development and Optimization: Design and implement manufacturing processes for optical components, including lenses, mirrors, prisms, and coatings.
Process Development and Optimization: Optimize fabrication methods such as grinding, polishing, coating, and assembly to improve efficiency and precision.
Production Support: Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues.
Production Support: Ensure that all production processes meet quality and performance specifications.
Equipment and Technology Management: Specify, procure, and maintain manufacturing equipment for optical production.
Equipment and Technology Management: Develop and implement advanced technologies, such as automated systems, to enhance production capabilities.
Quality Assurance: Develop and maintain quality control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
Quality Assurance: Perform inspections, measurements, and testing of optical components using interferometers, profilometers, and other metrology tools.
Design Collaboration: Work closely with optical designers to ensure manufacturability of new products.
Design Collaboration: Provide feedback on design adjustments for optimal production results.
Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain detailed process documentation, work instructions, and technical reports.
