Opticssource inspector needed in Singapore

We are looking for detail orientated Source Inspector, being a specialist in optics, to support a high-profile customer program. This role requires a deep expertise in the inspection of precision optical components and assemblies, being capable of engaging directly with suppliers to ensure all products meets customer exacting requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed inspections of dimensional, surface quality, and functionality of optical components, including lenses, prisms, coatings, and assemblies.
  • Review supplier documentation, drawings, and specifications for compliance.
  • Verify adherence to customer quality standards.
  • Identify and report any non-conformances, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
  • Provide clear and concise inspection reports with real-time updates for customers.
  • Work with supplier quality and engineering teams to resolve issues.
  • Support ramp-up with on-demand coverage, with the potential to expand into a full-time role.
Qualifications
  • Have a minimum of 7 years quality and/or engineering expertise in the aerospace and defence industries.
  • Extensive hands‑on experience in optical inspection within aerospace, defence, or similar regulated industries.
  • Strong knowledge of optical standards, testing methods, and measurement tools.
  • Familiarity with AS9100 quality management systems.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, GD&T, and specifications.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel regularly across local and nearby regions.
