Job summary

A leading food company in Singapore is seeking a Production Operator to assist with food processing operations and ensure cleanliness in production plants. Responsibilities include performing operations, preparing for start-up, maintaining machines, and ensuring hygiene and safety. Candidates should have a minimum NITEC or equivalent in Engineering and possess WSQ Food Safety Level 1 certification. Shift work is required, including rotating weekly shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum NITEC or Foreign Diploma/Degree in Engineering.
• WSQ Food Safety Course (FSC) Level 1 is an added advantage.
• Work in Non-Air con environment.

• Assist with food processing operations and ensure cleanliness.
• Perform operations according to work instructions.
• Prepare for start-up including verification of metal detectors.
• Conduct machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Check and record net weight digitally.
• Maintain hygiene and safety.

Roles & Responsibilities

The Production Operator assists with the food processing operation and filling according to work instructions. He/She will ensure the cleanliness with good housekeeping in our production plants.

He/She will report to the First Line Manager of the Production Plant.

Responsibilities

• Perform operation according to work instruction.
• Prepare for start-up, which includes verification of metal detectors and other operational prerequisite programs/critical control point.
• Machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Check and record net weight digitally.
• Always maintain Hygiene and Safety.
• Any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Requirements

Weekly Rotating shift :

• Mon-Sat : 7am-3pm
• Mon-Fri : 3pm-11pm
• Mon-Fri : 11pm-7am
• Minimum NITEC or Foreign Diploma/Degree in Engineering.
• Work in Non-Air con environment.
• WSQ Food Safety Course (FSC) Level 1 is an added advantage.
