Job summary

A food manufacturing company located in Singapore is seeking a production manager to oversee operations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and quality control. The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma in Food/Beverage and have at least 3 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include managing manpower, planning production workflows, and performing regular safety checks. Working hours include a six-day work week with shifts starting at 7am or 8am.

Qualifications

  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Manage, oversee and execute production operations, processes and routines in accordance to the company's food safety policies and standards
  • Monitor, control and improve product quality
  • Identify and resolve operational problems in a timely manner
  • Initiates and implements process improvements and maintain production SOPs.
  • Plan and organize manpower including recruit, train and onboard new employees and production workers.
  • Perform routine safety checks on equipment
  • Maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and customers.
  • Any other ad hoc tasks as assigned
Job Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma in Food/Beverage is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years' work experience in Food manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills; a team player with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • 6 days work week including public holidays.
  • Working Hours: 7am / 8am shift
