Job description

Key Responsibilities

OpenText Administration

Install, configure, upgrade, and administer OpenText components:

• OpenText Archive Center
• OpenText Content Server
• OpenText Directory Services
• OpenText Extended ECM for SAP

Perform daily health checks, system monitoring, backup management, and issue resolution.

Configure and manage integration connectors between OpenText and SAP systems.

SAP Data Archival & ILM

• Design and implement data archiving strategies for SAP S/4HANA using OpenText ArchiveLink and ILM.
• Set up and manage SAP ILM policies, retention rules, and legal holds.
• Coordinate with functional teams to identify archivable objects and retention requirements.
• Execute data archiving jobs and ensure transparent retrieval mechanisms.
• Monitor archived data access for compliance.

Project Involvement

• Support new implementations, migrations, and upgrades involving SAP and OpenText.
• Participate in architecture design and documentation of data archival processes.
• Collaborate with SAP BASIS, security, and functional teams for smooth integration.
• Assist in performance tuning and optimizing storage usage.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 4-5 years of hands‑on experience in installing and configuring OpenText products (Content Server, Archive Center, Directory Services), SAP OpenText ArchiveLink integration, SAP ILM configuration and integration.
• In‑depth understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and data structures.
• Proficiency in configuring archive objects, ILM store setup, and retention policies.
• Experience in document and records management using OpenText.
• Ability to troubleshoot SAP–OpenText integration issues.
• Familiarity with Linux/Windows OS, databases, and enterprise storage.
