Job summary

A leading chemical company in Singapore is seeking a Laboratory Technician with a Nitec in Chemical Engineering. This role involves performing quality control tests and sample analyses in a laboratory setting. Candidates must have at least 1 year of relevant experience, be able to work independently, and handle 12-hour rotating shifts. Flexibility to cover shifts and travel to Penjuru is required. Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of lab experience in Oil, Gas, Chemical, or Petroleum/Lubricant testing.
• Ability to work independently and cover shifts when needed.
• Willingness to travel to Penjuru.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control tests on blending components and lubricating oil.
• Carry out sample analysis on used oil and complaint samples.
• Check test results against specifications and adjust components as necessary.
• Participate in laboratory proficiency testing programs.
• Assist in instrument maintenance and perform housekeeping.
