Job summary

A leading offshore management firm in Singapore is seeking a knowledgeable technical lead to optimize vessel performance and ensure compliance with HSEQ standards. The ideal candidate has extensive maritime experience, including a minimum of 8 months in chief engineer or master roles, and experience with offshore construction vessels. This role involves budget management and regular communication with clients to guarantee operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Chief Engineer/Master for a minimum of 8 months on relevant type of ships.
• Must have experience managing DSV/MPSV/Offshore construction vessels.
• A proven track record as Superintendent for a minimum of 1 year in a shore-based Shipping Company will have an advantage.
• Candidates who are deemed technically competent and without shore experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead to ensure optimized technical availability for designated vessels.
• Promote and implement HSEQ culture and philosophy.
• Accountable for senior officer selection and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements.
• Monitor and track changes in legislation.
