Job summary

A prominent educational services company is looking for an Office Assistant in Singapore. The role involves answering phone calls, assisting with student injuries, and attending to walk-in visitors. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience as an Office Assistant or Receptionist in a primary school and possess good communication skills in English and one Mother Tongue language. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 7 am to 4 pm, excluding certain months and days.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience as an Office Assistant/Receptionist in a primary school from 2021 to 2025.
  • Positive attitude and pleasant disposition required.
  • Must be proficient in written and spoken English and one Mother Tongue language.

Responsibilities

  • Assist to answer phone calls when all other lines are busy.
  • Attend to students’ minor injuries.
  • Assist walk-in parents/contractors and redirect them.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.

1 February 2026 to 31 January 2027

Working Hours

Personnel to be deployed as per the following:

  1. Monday to Friday: 7.00 am to 4.00 pm, inclusive of a ½ hr lunch break
  2. Service not required for the months of June and December
  3. Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays, gazetted public holidays, June and December
Scope of Work
  1. Assist to answer phone calls when all other lines are busy
  2. Attend to students’ minor injuries (e.g., apply cold pack or plasters)
  3. Assist to attend to walk‑in parents / contractors and redirect them to relevant staff for assistance
  4. Ad‑hoc duties assigned by the Administration Manager and School Leaders
Qualifications and Skills
  1. 3 GCE ‘O’ Level Passes or its equivalent
  2. Positive attitude, pleasant disposition with good communication and inter‑personal skills
  3. Basic skills in MS Word and MS Excel
  4. Proficient in written and spoken English and one Mother Tongue language
  5. At least 2 years experience as an Office Assistant / Receptionist at the General Office front counter in a primary school between 2021 to 2025

The Personnel should preferably stay in the vicinity of the school.
