Job description

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing clients' individual needs, formulating and implementing appropriate occupational therapy programmes, and monitoring their progress at regular intervals.

Clinical

• Keep accurate records of all services provided and billing for residents.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulation and SOPs.
• Conduct admission and routine assessments of residents/clients.
• Conduct initial assessments of clients to identify their individual needs and formulate appropriate occupational therapy programmes.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy programmes that address Activities of Daily Living, Upper Limb Function and Control, Sensory and Perceptual Skills, Cognition, Behaviour, and Social Skills Training.
• Work with clients on a one-to-one basis or in groups, depending on the level of function and severity.

Others

• Review and suggest improvements to work processes.
• Supervise and train junior support care staff for occupational therapy related activities.
• Maintain proper equipment and inventory control through regular inspection and audits, and report faulty equipment promptly.

Requirements:

• Full registration with AHPC Singapore and a recognized qualification in Occupational Therapy.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in a healthcare setting.
