Job summary

A North Indian specialty restaurant in Singapore is seeking an experienced manager to oversee all restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in hotel or hospitality management and at least 5 years of experience in a similar environment. Key responsibilities include managing staff, controlling costs, ensuring positive guest experiences, and achieving operational objectives. Applicants must be bilingual in English and another Indian dialect and have strong culinary knowledge of North Indian cuisine.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a North Indian specialty restaurant.
  • Must possess Class 3/3A and Class 2B driving licence.
  • Must be able to commit for at least 2 years.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant.
  • Control costs by managing quantities and preparation.
  • Achieve restaurant operational objectives.
  • Ensure positive guest service and manage complaints.

Skills

Bilingual in English and at least one Indian dialect
Excellent interpersonal skills
Advanced knowledge of North Indian Cuisine
Intermediate IT skills (MS Word, Excel, Power Point)
Ability to handle employee conflicts
Strong business acumen
