Job description

Job Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities (80% of role):

• Perform routine and critical manufacturing operations in Cell Culture and Purification areas

• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for production of commercial and/or clinical products

• Record data accurately in Electronic Batch Management (EBM) and Master Batch Records (MBRs)

• Execute instructions for production and document all events in the Global Event Management System (GEMS) or equivalent

• Perform equipment monitoring and basic laboratory tasks, including sampling, pH, and conductivity measurements

• Demonstrate aseptic techniques when handling materials and products

• Troubleshoot and resolve production-related issues

• Maintain safe working practices, promptly reporting safety risks

Equipment and facility support (10% of role):

• Clean and maintain equipment according to schedules

• Assist in equipment assembly and disassembly

• Support changeover activities and initiate Corrective Work Orders (C3ME system or equivalent)

• Perform basic housekeeping and ensure equipment standardization

Staff Technical Training and Development (10% of role):

• Meet all required training goals and maintain a personal development plan

• Provide self-assessments for annual performance evaluations

• Stay compliant with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) regulations and Takeda's Code of Conduct

Job Requirements:

• Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) is preferred

• Strong communication, troubleshooting, and documentation skills

• Familiarity with aseptic techniques and personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Ability to work in cold rooms (2-8°C) and around chemicals, such as alcohols, acids, and bases
