Overview
Job Summary: We are looking for a Network & Systems Engineer with a strong focus on network infrastructure to join our team. In this role, you will directly engage with clients, manage vendors, and support the design, implementation, and maintenance of network solutions. You will be responsible for analysing business requirements, ensuring network performance, and coordinating with vendors to deliver reliable IT services. This role is ideal for candidates with 1–3 years of experience in system/network analysis or engineering.

Responsibilities
1. Systems Administration & Support
- Analyze, configure, and support enterprise systems (ERP, Microsoft 365, SharePoint).
- Troubleshoot system/application issues and provide Level 2/3 support.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including workflows, network diagrams, and system configurations.
- Provide end-user training and post-implementation support.
2. Network & Cyber Security Management
- Administer LAN/WAN, switches, routers, wireless access points, and firewalls.
- Monitor and optimize network performance (speed, availability, and security).
- Implement IT security measures, including endpoint protection, VPNs, VLANs, and firewall rules.
- Assist in the implementation of IT security policies and compliance controls.
3. Cloud Services & Virtualization
- Manage Microsoft Azure (servers, AD, VMs) and Office 365 environments.
- Oversee cloud backup, storage, and disaster recovery plans.
- Support cloud migration projects and optimize resource usage.
- Ensure cloud and virtualization environments are secure, scalable, and cost-efficient.
4. Client & Vendor Engagement
- Work directly with clients to gather requirements, provide technical consultation, and propose suitable system/network solutions.
- Manage vendors and service providers to ensure SLA compliance and timely delivery.
- Support the design, configuration, and deployment of IT and network solutions for projects.
5. Integration & Process Improvement
- Ensure seamless integration across ERP, HR, Finance, and Project systems.
- Continuously review and optimize IT infrastructure to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Provide data analysis and reporting to support decision-making and process improvement.
6. IT Infrastructure & Asset Management
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of IT hardware/software assets.
- Manage IT procurement and coordinate with vendors.
- Support commissioning and decommissioning of IT resources.
Job Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in IT systems/network analysis, network engineering, or related fields.
- Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN, and network monitoring tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, SharePoint, ERP/HRMS systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, virtualization (VMs).
- Familiar with backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and cloud security practices.
- Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell/Python) is an advantage.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Microsoft Azure Administrator, ITIL) are an advantage.
- Exposure to ITIL processes, ticketing systems, and cybersecurity solutions.
