Job description

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, secure, and support enterprise network infrastructure. The role focuses on firewall management, routing and switching, and advanced Cisco technologies including Cisco ACI, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across the network environment.

Responsibilities

• Configuring, managing, and maintaining Checkpoint firewalls to protect the network perimeter and individual applications.
• Developing and implementing firewall rules to control network traffic based on business requirements and security policies.
• Investigating and resolving issues related to firewall performance, security incidents, and application connectivity.
• Supporting the migration of applications to Checkpoint firewalls, including network segmentation and firewall rule adjustments.
• Demonstrating expertise in network security concepts and best practices, including firewall design, security policies, and threat detection.
• Configuring and optimizing Cisco routers and switches for network performance and security.
• Implementing and managing routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP.
• Configuring and managing switching technologies such as VLANs, spanning tree, and Quality of Service (QoS).
• Designing and implementing network infrastructure based on Cisco technologies.
• Troubleshooting network issues related to routing, switching, and other network devices.
• Designing, planning, and implementing Cisco ACI solutions based on business requirements.
• Configuring and deploying Cisco ACI fabrics, including policies, application profiles, and VRFs.
• Implementing network segmentation using ACI technologies such as bridge domains and endpoint groups (EPGs).
• Integrating Cisco ACI with other network devices and applications, including firewalls and load balancers.
• Monitoring ACI performance, identifying bottlenecks, and optimizing the network for performance and security.
• Maintaining detailed documentation of network configurations, policies, and procedures.
• Providing technical support and guidance to internal teams on ACI implementation and troubleshooting.
• Assist to establish best practices and policies for installing configuring maintaining and troubleshooting network devices.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science /Engineering/ Related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in the relevant field.
• Good knowledge in Routing and Switching, routing protocols OSPF BGP EIGRP.
• In depth knowledge and hands on experience in troubleshooting network setup with Cisco ISE Cisco ACI Juniper Fortinet checkpoint Firewall products.
• Have configured both in standalone mode high availability configuration and virtualized mode.
• Certification CCNA Routing and Switching CCNP Routing and Switching.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field

GOOD TO HAVE

• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, F5 BigIP, Bluecoat proxy.
