Overview

Job summary:

The role holder provides IP networks Integration consultancy and support to help customers maximize network availability and functionality to achieve their business goals. Activities will include in-depth analysis, design, deployment/integration & support and consultancy. The role holder will be "Our client's face to the customer as a trusted adviser", working in a fast-paced, high-impact environment as a visible contributor delivering our commitments.

Responsibilities

• Provide planning, designing, assessment, implementation/integration & support services to our client’s Customers.
• Participate in or leads coverage of Nokia install bases of medium to large Service Provider customers & driving and planning the development of the IP Core Network.
• May also have to support their Campus, Security, Data Center networks when there is a need.
• Deliver assessments of the Nokia install base with a detailed understanding of network, customers change management processes, migration processes and related dependencies.
• Interpret client needs, assess the full requirements, and identify suitable solutions.
• Support on the service delivery and network solution implementation.
• Work along with the project/operations managers on the engagement to ensure compliance to set processes, weekly progress and status checks, ongoing communications and meetings and drive technical leadership and solutions & deliverables discussions with the customers.
• Work closely with the sales and regional teams to participate and drive the preparation of proposals and Statements of Work. Identify & influence additional business opportunities in collaboration with sales team by demonstrating knowledge of customer’s network, challenges and their future plans.
• Ensure smooth closure of engagements using relationship with the customer and guide them to the next steps.
• Provide support and troubleshooting service for the network infrastructure related incidents and problems.
• Assists customer with deployment of complex network tools and related Network
• Builds simulated networks in test labs to validate the design and solution.
• Provides remote or onsite deployment support.

Skills/Experience

• Relevant degree /diploma for recognized institution
• Professional level Networking Certifications or higher
• Deep working knowledge in IP Core technologies for Service Provider Core networks (Provider & Provider Edge)
• Rich hands on experience in technologies such as: Core SP Routing Design (OSPF, ISIS, BGP) : MPLS Label Protocols (LDP/RSVP/BGP-LU/Segment Routing) : QoS,IPv6, L2/L3 VPNs
• The ability to perform highly technical L1, L2 and L3 troubleshooting to determine root cause of software or hardware failure issues.
• Familiar with the following technologies: SDN, STP, HSRP/VRRP, LISP, high availability, network/device security, QoS, IP SLA, network management.
• Exposure to at least one of the following would be a plus: SDWA : IP RAN : Packet data roaming network : 3G/4G (LTE) /5G network architecture : NGN
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, Effective consulting and communication skills
• Experience in building and designing large multi-protocol inter-networks is an added advantage.
• Demonstrated industry awareness.
• Hands on exposure to Cisco/Juniper/Nokia products

Candidate will be employed by Consule and assigned to our client on a full-time basis. Our client is a global leader in IT sector. The successful candidate will be working typically on multi-year projects with candidate contracted for an identified period. These contracts are typically extended for longer terms.
