Job description

We are looking for a Network Production Engineer (Level 2) to join our global team supporting one of the largest customer install bases worldwide. This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented engineer with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for networking technologies.

You will be responsible for ensuring network service stability, driving incident resolution, and continuously improving operational efficiency through collaboration, analysis, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead technical triages with application, systems, and vendor teams to restore stability quickly and prevent future issues.
2. Monitor network events using advanced tools, customizing monitors for greater visibility and proactive detection.
3. Validate post-implementation changes to confirm successful rollouts with zero customer impact.
4. Perform deep packet capture and analysis to troubleshoot and isolate complex network issues.
5. Contribute to post-incident reviews for high-impact network events, supporting long-term solutions.
6. Drive customer remediation efforts with a focus on risk reduction and continuous service improvement.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

• Strong passion for networking and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with F5 load balancers (iRules experience preferred; certification is a plus).
• Practical knowledge of Cisco routing and switching.
• Exposure to firewalls, proxy services, and DNS infrastructure.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking skills for root cause analysis.
• Interest in automation and tool optimization; Python scripting knowledge is a plus.
