Location: Singapore
Employment Type: Freelance (Cover-based assignments)
Eligibility: Open to graduates with a Diploma or Degree in Musical Theatre who are willing to undergo teacher training prior to engagement. Only applicants with existing rights to work in Singapore will be considered.

The Role

We are looking for a Musical Theatre Teacher (Freelance – Cover) to support our team by covering classes when required. This role involves teaching singing, acting, and dance, while ensuring continuity with existing lesson plans and class progress.

You will work closely with the Head of Department and the assigned class teacher to follow on from their teaching and maintain consistency across lessons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging musical theatre classes incorporating singing, acting, and dance
  • Follow and continue from existing lesson plans to ensure consistency in teaching
  • Prepare students for examinations, performances, and competitions where applicable
  • Provide constructive, confidence‑building feedback to support student development
  • Maintain a safe, organised, and positive learning environment
  • Communicate clearly with the Head of Department, customer support team, and relevant teachers
  • Provide brief post‑class feedback or handover notes when covering classes

  • Students aged 2–18 years old
  • Our Musical Theatre programme is structured to prepare students for Trinity College London examinations and lessons should align with this framework
