Responsibilities
- Team Management & Leadership – Lead, coach, and manage a team of 25-30 merchandisers and promoters across islandwide.
- Develop clear KPIs and ensure accountability through regular reviews and market audits.
- Recruit, train, and retain top merchandising and promoter talent.
- Retail Execution & Compliance – Ensure planogram compliance, product availability, and in-store visibility standards.
- Drive flawless execution of spacebuys, promotions, and point-of-sale materials.
- Conduct regular store checks to ensure trade marketing activities are properly executed.
- Promotions & Activation Execution – Plan, coordinate, and execute roadshows, GWP programs, and promoter-led sampling activities.
- Manage promoter schedules, training, and performance to ensure engaging consumer experiences.
- Ensure promotional inventory and premiums are well-managed and accounted for.
- Operational Excellence – Oversee daily field operations, route planning, and resource allocation.
- Implement productivity tools, trackers, and reporting systems to drive efficiency.
- Manage merchandising and activation spacebuy budgets effectively, optimizing cost-to-serve.
Requirement
- Minimum 3 years of FMCG operations/merchandising/activation experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong experience in managing both merchandising operations and consumer-facing activations (roadshows, GWP, sampling, promoters).
- Proven track record in people management, retail execution, and promotional event delivery for MT customers, esp FairPrice
- Collaborates closely with merchandisers and actively provides hands-on support in merchandising when needed
