Mechanical Technician (Pharma) (SG) – Anter Consulting

We’re hiring a dedicated Mechanical Technician to ensure the operational excellence of GMP manufacturing production and facility equipment in Tuas, Singapore. This is an 8-hour shift-based role, with shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM and 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot & Repair: Perform repairs on production, packaging, and critical utility systems (e.g., compressed air, steam, refrigeration, water treatment).
  • Preventative Maintenance (PM): Execute scheduled PMs, including general maintenance (welding, basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry).
  • Installation & Calibration: Install new equipment and calibrate process equipment (e.g., tank load cells, fillers).
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of work and submit reports.
  • Vendor & Project Coordination: Coordinate with external vendors and support equipment improvement projects.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements for process and equipment efficiency.
  • IMS Compliance: Support and comply with Integrated Management Systems standards (e.g., ISO, OHSAS).
  • Inventory & Asset Management: Manage engineering tools, equipment, and optimize inventory levels.
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • 2‑5 years of proven experience as a Mechanical Technician in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and PM skills.
  • Ability to perform general maintenance tasks.
  • Familiarity with utility systems and equipment calibration.
  • Knowledge of industrial standards (e.g., ISO, OHSAS).
  • Good communication and coordination abilities.
  • Proactive approach and ability to work in an 8‑hour shift rotation.
