Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an engineering technician to manage maintenance and inspection of mechanical and electrical systems. The ideal candidate must have a diploma or bachelor's degree in relevant engineering fields and a minimum of one year of experience. Proficiency in AutoCad and knowledge of various computer software programs are essential. Responsibilities include fault analysis, preventive maintenance, and overseeing contractor compliance with safety standards.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Document inspection and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure proper housekeeping of spare parts, equipment and tools.
  • Help to conduct fault analysis and testing of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Oversee the work of contractors outside the mechanical and electrical team to ensure safety requirements and operating standards are met.
  • Perform corrective maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Perform fault analysis and testing of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Electrical engineering technicians test, fix and adjust electrical equipment or products.
  • Inspecting designs for quality control, reporting findings and providing recommendations.
  • Finding solutions for technical design problems that occur during the construction of electrical systems.
  • Adjusting and replace broken electronic components and circuitry.
  • Drawing diagrams with specifications to clarify the design details of experimental electronic units.
Requirements
  • Diploma / Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering/ Electronic and Communication Engineering/Chemical Engineering
  • Minimum 1 year experience.
  • Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, POS)
  • Proficient in AutoCad.
