A leading energy and urban solutions provider is seeking an Engineer – M&E responsible for the design and implementation of mechanical electrical systems. This role involves collaboration with project teams to ensure compliance with technical specifications and safety standards. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply. The position is based in Singapore, and only Singaporeans will be considered due to project sensitivities.

The Engineer – M&E is responsible for the design, coordination, and implementation of mechanical electrical systems in built environment projects. This role that all M&E works comply with technical specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. The engineer collaborates with consultants, contractors, and project teams to resolve technical issues, conduct inspections, and support the successful delivery of building services systems such as HVAC, electrical distribution, fire protection, and plumbing.
Responsible for M&E services proposals for building and infrastructure projects encompassing conducting feasibility studies, resolution of technical issues, conceptual design, writing of specifications, budgeting, programming, procurement, design review, safety and quality assurance.
Working with stakeholders, service providers, contractors and consultants, reviewing the providing value engineering solutions with the objective of achieving quality, compliance and value for money
Support tender and execution of projects
Review of sub-contractors’ proposal and design
Work with respective sub-contractors (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, aircon, fire protection etc..) to produce shop drawings
Integrate shop drawings into BIM system for feasibility review
Familiar with oil tank construction and oil pipeline laying
Coordinate site activities during construction
Liaise with clients, consultants, sub-contractors etc..
Ensure the smooth completion of the project
other ad-hoc matters assigned by Management
Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent.
Familiar with API 650 code will be an added advantage
Candidate should carry a proactive attitude.
