Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Admiralty

Basic salary: $2500 - $4000

Working Days/Hours: Mon-Fri 8.30 am-5.30 pm

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of mechanical components, assemblies for semiconductor packaging equipment, process technology, and precision automation systems.
• Prepare 2D/3D CAD drawings, models, and technical documentation using SolidWorks and other CAD software.
• Conduct basic engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection.
• Support prototype fabrication, testing, and validation of mechanical designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, manufacturing, QA) to resolve design-related issues.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance product quality, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturability.
• Ensure designs comply with company standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Fresh graduates with 1–2 years of relevant design/engineering experience are welcome.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks (essential). Experience with other CAD software (AutoCAD, CATIA, Creo, etc.) is an advantage.
• Experience should include the design of mechanical components, jigs, fixtures, or assemblies.
• Preference will be given to candidates with hands‑on experience in full system‑level mechanical design, beyond just modular components.
• Knowledge of mechanical design principles, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
• Mandarin language is required to communicate with Chinese associates in the China HQ.
