Overview

As a marketing partner embedded within our Element business units, you will be a key player in creating an aligned roadmap that favourably positions Element as a viable partner within our customers' end-markets. In partnership with the Strategic Marketing Director, you will leverage your deep marketing expertise in highlighting key market trends and translating customer feedback and insights into both strategic and tactical marketing campaigns that drive business growth, brand preference, and enhance the customer experience.

Responsibilities
  • In partnership with the strategic marketing director, develop, implement, manage and optimise the annual marketing plan.
  • Responsible for developing and driving new engagement and nurturing campaigns and build upon current strategies to drive incremental leads.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and execute new lead generation campaigns, including, but not limited to, email marketing, events, SEM, social media, and website.
  • Partner with the strategic marketing director in translating market trends and competitive intelligence into meaningful and actionable insights that drive growth and innovation.
  • Measure and report monthly on the performance (including ROI) of all online and offline marketing tactics and campaigns.
  • Participate in creating and presenting campaign performance to key business stakeholders as required with emphasis on measuring and optimizing results.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders across the organization, key technical experts, and thought leaders to produce high-quality and engaging content.
  • Using project management principles, ensure that marketing campaign meet key milestones for successful deployment and execution.
  • Collaborate with marketing colleagues across Element’s regional, digital and brand Marketing teams sharing and adopting best practices.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and outside vendors to deliver compelling messaging and value propositions for target audiences, including strategy and tactical components.
  • Experience developing customer nurture campaigns and digital journeys.
  • Fully comply with Element brand guidelines, using appropriate templates, styles, content, grammar, and activities where they exist.
  • Utilize marketing best practices and internal processes to execute tactical marketing plans for a specified Element business division.
  • Create entries for, maintain and monitor the performance of all relevant industry directory listings for laboratories within the specified business division.
Skills / Qualifications
  • 5+ years of sales, marketing, and inbound lead generation experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Communications or equivalent in experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to coordinate activity effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience of delivering integrated marketing campaigns across all elements of the marketing mix
  • Ability to manage relationships with external agencies to ensure that they deliver work that is on brief, on time and on budget
  • Ability to interpret technical information and communicate this in an engaging style to key audiences
  • Strong budget setting and project management skills
  • Experience of delivering marketing campaigns with excellent ROI
  • Continuous learning mindset with dedicated effort in staying current with marketing tools and technologies including AI, voice of customer, personalized journey mapping, and nurtures
  • Experience with CMS / CRM (Craft, Optimizely, and Microsoft 365 would be desirable)
