YOUR IMPACT

The Market Intelligence & Business Analyst Manager is responsible to deliver all market intelligence and build compelling analysis to support the business and the decision‑making process across the organization to drive growth based on market data findings and insights.

This position provides leadership and expertise to define & implement all market reporting/dashboards/consolidations requirements to monitor LVMH Beauty TR APAC's performance in market. It will gather all available data and market knowledge to generate market insights to identify avenues for optimization, new opportunities, and drive growth.

The Market Intelligence & Business Analyst team operates as the Center of Excellence (COE) on actionable insights in the areas of Market Analysis & Research (business analytics, opportunities), Consumer/Shopper Behavioral Research (trends, needs, motivations, purchase habits) and User/Product Research (user perception & attitudes, product evaluation). The candidate will play a pivotal role in leading a team of talented market experts/analysts and engage the rest of the functions, in accordance with the organization’s market insights needs and business objectives.

YOUR MISSION
  • Define & implement all market reporting/dashboards/consolidations requirements to monitor LVMH TR APAC's performance in market
  • Gather all available data and market knowledge to generate market insights, identify opportunities and drive growth
  • Build appropriate business intelligence on past trends to build future forecasting tools to support the Business strategy. Enable processes that ensure accuracy of market trends forecasting.
  • Improve data collection from retailers follow up data mapping
  • Provide LVMH data to data provider and perform quarterly analyses based on competitor data
  • Issue monthly traveler analysis + projection identify opportunities / risk
Business Intelligence Partner with brands
  • Provide Market analysis: budget and 3 years Strat plan, market trends. Lead Quarterly Insights Meetings to ensure bottom‑up and top‑down intelligence & sharing
  • Based on Sell‑out performance, prepare a monthly analysis and identify business opportunities
  • Lead cross‑collaboration on market research, advanced analytics initiatives, stay informed on market insight advances and develop/mature the Center of Excellence (COE) on Insights. Communicate strategy and analytic results in an actionable and non‑technical manner to department leaders
  • Lead a core analysis of TR APAC price strategy to support brand price positioning
  • Evaluate market trends with concrete recommendations for optimization of business TR APAC portfolio and strategy
  • Conduct routine business analysis including key drivers and opportunities for improvement. Lead ad hoc business analysis on key issues such as innovation performance, event/seasonal performance, business segment performance, etc.
  • Partner with key members of Marketing, Finance, Sales teams to identify and operationalize opportunities for growth
  • Partner with regional teams and recommend global implications
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking to evaluate company's position vs. competitors, recommend opportunities for improvements
Team/Projects
  • Animate an expert team, implement process and consistency across segments and build the data analysis capabilities in close collaboration with other business teams
  • Work closely with HQ to support IT tool projects

WHAT YOU OFFER
  • Bachelors degree (Masters/Advanced degree preferred) in Business or quantitative discipline
  • 7/10+ years of progressive business experience in market research, business analytics, data‑driven decision making
  • Experience working in a retail or fast‑moving consumer goods company and/or data analytic supplier with track record of working in multiple data science focused projects
  • Experience leveraging analytics and insight synthesis
  • Working knowledge in visualization platforms and customization (Power BI, Tableau etc)
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin
  • Demonstrate effective team and project management including setting appropriate action standards, selecting and guiding suppliers, managing within budget and schedule constraints, and, delivering actionable results with globally scalable solutions
  • Leader as well as team player with ability to build and manage key relationships
  • Excellent communicator with ability to distill complex issues into clear, concise communications
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and experience analyzing large amounts of data.
