A leading maritime company in Singapore is seeking an Accountant to support its finance team in managing bunker fuel transactions, vendor payments, and customer billing. The role demands accuracy and detail-oriented skills, with responsibilities including invoice processing, reconciliation of fuel-related data, and compliance with regulations. Candidates should hold a relevant degree and possess strong Excel abilities; experience in the maritime industry is a plus. This position is office-based and requires interaction with operations teams.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of accounting experience; fresh graduates with relevant internships may be considered.
• Experience in the maritime, shipping, or bunkering industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of BDNs, bunker pricing, and MFM documentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and prepare customer invoices for bunker deliveries.
• Reconcile bunker transaction data and investigate discrepancies.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with financial records and maritime regulations.
• Prepare daily and weekly financial reports.
