Job summary

A leading marine service provider in Singapore is seeking a technician to carry out maintenance and servicing of marine engines and equipment. The ideal candidate will assist in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical faults, support installation works onboard vessels, and perform routine checks. Candidates should hold a NITEC in Marine Engineering or related fields, possess basic knowledge of tools and engines, and be willing to learn and work hands-on. This position requires independent and team working capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and servicing of marine engines and equipment.
• Assist in troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical faults.
• Support installation and commissioning works onboard vessels or at shipyards.
• Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance.
• Prepare basic service reports after work completion.
• Follow safety rules and work instructions.
• Assist senior engineers during servicing and breakdown works.
• Willing to work onboard vessels, shipyards, and occasionally travel.

Skills

Basic knowledge of tools, engines, or machinery

Willing to learn and work hands-on

Ability to work independently and as a team

Education

NITEC / Higher NITEC in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, or related field
