Job summary

Job description
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Develop, execute, and oversee the company’s annual business plan and policies.
  • Drive company-wide strategic initiatives that ensure sustainable growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
  • Liaise with internal departments and HQ through meetings related to Generator Sets and other engine products.
  • Formulate and implement mid-term improvement plans to enhance organizational efficiency and employee engagement.
  • Serve as the primary approving authority for key matters including order management, HR, finance, and procurement.
  • Lead, guide, evaluate, and develop heads of departments to ensure business objectives are met and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations is maintained.
  • Champion workplace safety initiatives with the objective of achieving zero accidents.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in senior executive and regional management roles within the power generation, engine systems, or related industrial equipment industry.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting, engine and generator products, and QA/QC processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic coordination and policy alignment with Japan HQ and regional subsidiaries to ensure seamless business integration.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop staff.
  • Proven ability to make sound judgments and take timely, effective decisions.
  • Business-level proficiency in English.
  • Proficiency in Japanese (spoken and written) for effective communication with HQ executives, regional subsidiaries, and Japanese customers.
  • Deep understanding of Japanese culture, corporate governance, quality standards, and decision-making practices, with the ability to bridge communication between HQ and local teams.
  • Excellent networking skills.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
  • Prior experience in a company within the power generation or engine systems sector.
