Job description
Manager, Operations Shared Services (Security)

Job Category: Administration

Assisting the Senior Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our security operations run smoothly across SingHealth facilities. These include managing the daily operations of the Combined Operations Centre and overseeing the future implementation of the SingHealth Security Command Centre.

You are also expected to review, develop and implement comprehensive security solutions that meet our organisational goals for staff, patients and visitors at SingHealth HQ and Outram Community Hospital.

Additionally, you will serve as a key liaison with law enforcement agencies to organise crime prevention activities and emergency response protocols. You are expected to assist institutions with new facilities to develop and operationalise security policies. You will also be the primary liaison between institution counterparts and SingHealth HQ for cluster-wide security initiatives.Other duties include supporting the development and implementation of departmental strategic initiatives including workforce planning, budget management and supervision of staff. Evaluation and analysis of existing performance indicators to identify faults will also be required to ensure the department’s performance targets are met.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management Studies with a service-related specialisation
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience
  • Background in security or healthcare-related fields is advantageous
  • Self-starter with a high degree of resourcefulness and excellent cross-functional communication abilities
  • Good understanding of security standards such as Software Quality Assurance (SQA) and International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
