IE University is seeking a qualified candidate to join our Southeast Asia & Oceania team based in Singapore, reporting to the Director of Southeast Asia & Oceania. This position provides an exciting opportunity for ambitious candidates that excel in business development and relationship building.

Responsibilities
Key Action Areas:

The role includes, but is not limited to:

  • Developing and driving recruitment strategies for IE’s full‑time, part‑time and executive programs.
  • Managing the creation and implementation of innovative marketing strategies and campaigns to drive IE’s brand, and generate leads and student enrolment in the Southeast Asia and Oceania regions.
  • Planning and executing both large and small‑scale recruitment events including Master Classes, IE Experience Days, Admissions Days, school fairs, and other presentations.
  • Increasing the number of interested IE applicants by providing personalized and timely support in their admissions journeys to develop a healthy and steady pipeline of candidates.
  • Benchmarking competitors focusing on their commercial activities and programs.
  • Cultivating and maintaining relationships with local and regional organisations, government agencies and partners.
  • Identifying and working with potential employers, organisations and/or government agencies to facilitate sponsorship/scholarships.
Qualifications
Requirements:
  • Masters degree from a top university, IE alumni is a plus.
  • 3‑5 years of experience in sales, business development, communications or account management, preferably in the education sector.
  • Experience in B2B and B2G roles is a plus.
  • Proficiency in business‑level English and an Asian language, preferably Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills with the comfort and competence in delivering effective presentations.
  • An effective team player who is willing to collaborate with multiple stakeholders with shared accountability in a dynamic, international environment.
  • Excellent communicator and networker. Demonstrated poise and professionalism interacting with professionals ranging from junior to executive profiles, and from diverse backgrounds.
  • Capability to work with tight deadlines, multi‑task and navigate an entrepreneurial culture.
  • Ability and willingness to travel within Southeast Asia is a must.
