Job summary

A multinational company in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to support its Group Compensation and Benefits team. This role involves leading compensation program reviews, data analysis for HR, and liaising with finance teams for accurate accounting. Candidates should hold a degree in Human Resource or Finance and possess over 7 years of relevant experience. Strong Microsoft skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential. Qualifications

Job description
The Role

This position will be part of the Group Compensation and Benefits team (6 pax) where you will support the Group’s rewards programs globally by reviewing and implementing compensation and benefit programs in accordance with Company philosophy, statutory requirements and regulations, and to ensure competitiveness.

Job Responsibilities
  • Support HR Business Partners, Business Leaders and Senior Management with data analysis pertaining to the rewards programs.
  • Lead the salary, bonus and share plans review and recalibration cycles.
  • Work with Country HRs and external vendors for insurance renewals and benefits review.
  • Work closely with external consultants to ensure accuracy of reports for presentation to Executive Resource & Compensation Committee (ERCC) of the MIPL Group and Nominating & Remuneration Committees (NRC) of the Mapletree REITs.
  • Serve as a liaison for HR with Finance teams (Group, Country and REITs) to ensure accurate accounting provisions of the various compensation programs, salary budget accruals, financial reports disclosures on staff cost as well as advise on financial implications including but not limited to tax and incentive amortization methodologies.
  • Ensure survey participation and provide advice to the HR Business Partners in cost centre allocation, salary budget accruals and annual manpower cost budgets.
  • Lead in ad hoc projects assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements
  • Degree in Human Resource, Finance or equivalent.
  • At least 7 years’ of experience in a Finance accounting role or a compensation and benefits role.
  • Have people management experiences.
  • Excellent Microsoft software skills, and experience in the EVA compensation model and various share plans will be necessary.
  • Meticulous, numerically inclined with a keen analytical ability.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Mature, responsible and possess initiative.
  • Able to contribute individually and through others to deliver stated goals and results.
  • Candidates with experiences in benefits review and / or experiences in reviewing insurance renewals will have added advantage.
