Job summary

A multinational logistics company is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee regional finance operations for a 6-month period in Singapore. Job description

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to support our regional finance operations for a 6-month period. The role will support the implementation of Oracle Fusion Financials and monthly financial consolidation and reporting. The successful candidate will work closely with the CFO and collaborate with country finance teams across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities
Oracle Fusion Financials Implementation
  • Support the rollout and implementation of Oracle Fusion Financial modules.
  • Assist with system mapping, data validation, testing, and cutover activities.
  • Work with the finance and IT teams to ensure seamless integration between Oracle Fusion and CargoWise billing/reporting modules.
  • Help identify gaps, propose solutions, and support process standardisation across countries.
  • Assist with the mapping and alignment of financial systems (Hyperion, CargoWise, Oracle Fusion).
Monthly Reporting & Analysis
  • Prepare and review monthly financial statements for regional office, including consolidation.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing, including reconciliations and supporting schedules.
  • Perform variance analysis and provide management insights.
  • Perform consolidation activities and assist with reporting in Hyperion / Oracle Fusion where required.
Financial Operations & Internal Controls
  • Support the implementation and enforcement of finance SOPs, internal controls, and Delegation of Authority (DOA) policies.
  • Conduct balance sheet reviews and ensure proper reconciliations.
  • Maintain compliance with group policies and audit requirements.
Statutory Accounts, Audit & Tax Compliance
  • Assist with statutory financial statements preparation and audit coordination.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely filings.
  • Support GST submissions, tax schedules, and quarterly Group reporting packages.
Ad-hoc Finance and Business Support
  • Provide support for budgeting/forecasting tasks when required.
  • Participate in finance projects, migrations, and regional process harmonisation efforts.
  • Perform other accounting duties as needed to support business continuity.
Requirements
Qualifications
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or its equivalent.
  • ACCA/CPA/Chartered Accountant preferred.
Experience
  • At least 5 years of accounting or audit experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
  • Experience in Oracle Fusion or other major ERP implementations is preferred.
  • Logistics or freight forwarding industry experience is an advantage.
  • Strong exposure to statutory audit and full month-end closing.
Skills
  • Familiarity with group accounting pack and consolidation.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge (FRS/IFRS).
  • Proficient in Excel; experience with Hyperion, Oracle Fusion, CargoWise is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to details.
