Job Responsibilities
  • Accounting, tax and reporting:
  • Reviewing assigned asset financial statements and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Supporting the Finance team in the research of accounting treatments for new transactions
  • Ensuring timely submission of audit and tax compliances for assets under his/her charge
  • Prepare monthly management reporting
  • Financial Planning and Analysis:
  • Preparing annual budgets and monthly forecasts
  • Analysing asset financial performances vis-à-vis budget / forecast
  • Treasury:
  • Monitoring and performing cash forecasting of assigned investments to maximise liquidity
  • Corporate Finance:
  • Support acquisition and divestments by:
    • assist in tax structuring and funds flow mechanism for new acquisitions and divestments
    • reviewing and proposing changes to tax strategy in accordance with regulatory changes
  • Others:
  • Perform other duties as assigned and any other work exigencies and secondment that may arise and as requested by the Company such as improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin, to be able to communicate with our Partners in China
  • Comfortable managing ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
  • Confident to engage different stakeholders, and can work independently to deliver outcomes
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret financial data
  • Experienced in acquisition/ divestment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Power BI
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good working attitude, positive mindset, meticulous and a lot of initiatives
