Overall Job Purpose

Seeking a motivated and versatile Manager to lead facilities management projects, oversee facility operations, and drive asset management excellence. The role requires strong technical competency, operational discipline, and the ability to execute improvement initiatives that enhance facility uptime, asset lifecycle performance, and regulatory compliance. Success in this role is measured by the timely and safe delivery of FM projects within approved quality and budget parameters, sustained operational reliability, effective optimisation of asset performance, full compliance with sustainability, statutory and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements, and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Facilities Management Projects

    • Lead planning, design, execution and delivery of FM-related projects, including infrastructure upgrades and system improvements.

    • Develop project scopes, budgets, timelines and justification papers.

    • Oversee consultants and contractors to ensure safe, quality and timely delivery.

    • Coordinate site works, testing, commissioning and operational handover.

    • Integrate lifecycle considerations and asset resilience into decisions.

  2. Facilities Operations

    • Oversee daily operations of facilities to ensure readiness, safety and service reliability.

    • Lead preventive and corrective maintenance programmes.

    • Manage vendor performance and service contracts.

    • Conduct inspections, audits and follow-ups to maintain standards.

  3. Asset Management

    • Maintain an accurate asset register.

    • Implement asset lifecycle planning and condition assessments.

    • Analyse performance to identify gaps and opportunities.

    • Plan capital investments for major equipment and infrastructure.

  4. Sustainability & Compliance

    • Integrate sustainability into FM projects and operations.

    • Lead initiatives on energy efficiency and resource conservation.

    • Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and safety requirements.

    • Promote a strong WSH culture across operations.

  5. Stakeholder Coordination

    • Coordinate with internal teams, government agencies, regulators and contractors.

    • Provide updates on project progress, risks and operational impact.

  6. Other Duties

    • Undertake FM-related tasks and projects as assigned.

Job Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering, Facilities/Asset Management, Architecture, or related field.

  • Fire Safety Manager

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in FM operations, asset management or project delivery.

  • Strong technical understanding of building and facility systems, with proven experience in contractor management and coordination.

  • Able to manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • WSH certification / Work at Height certification / Sustainability-related certification
