About Hope Village @ Kaki Bukit Recreation Centre

Hope Village is the new community concept at Kaki Bukit Recreation Centre (KBRC), operated by Hope Initiative Alliance. It serves as a welcoming and inclusive space for migrant workers and migrant domestic workers to rest, connect, and participate in meaningful programmes during their time off.

As one of Singapore’s key migrant worker recreation centres, Hope Village brings together community outreach, volunteer engagement, partnerships, and programmes to support the well-being, social connection, and dignity of the migrant worker community. Through regular activities, events, and collaborations with community, corporate, and public partners, Hope Village aims to create a safe and vibrant environment where migrant workers feel valued and supported.

About the Role

The Manager, Engagement Department (Hope Village) is responsible for leading and coordinating all engagement, outreach, and programme-related functions at Hope Village. This role ensures meaningful engagement with migrant workers (MWs) and migrant domestic workers (MDWs), strong partnerships and volunteer involvement, and well-run programmes and events that align with Hope Village’s objectives.

You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver impactful, inclusive, and well-coordinated engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and oversight for the Engagement Department and its various engagement functions
  • Coordinate community outreach to MWs and MDWs
  • Oversee membership relations and engagement activities
  • Support and guide programme and event planning and execution
  • Strengthen partnerships with community groups, corporates, volunteers, and sector partners
  • Ensure engagement activities are well-coordinated with Facilities Management and Corporate Services teams
  • Monitor programme outcomes, participation, and feedback, and recommend improvements
  • Support reporting, documentation, and compliance requirements as needed

Requirements
  • Degree or relevant qualification in social services, community development, arts management, public administration, or related fields
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in community engagement, programme management, or social service operations
  • Experience working with volunteers, community partners, or migrant communities is an advantage
  • Strong coordination, communication, and people management skills
  • Able to manage multiple initiatives and work collaboratively across teams
