Job Description

We are seeking an experienced community worker to lead a team to execute Game-On with CARE, a community project by CARE Singapore focusing on Digital Wellbeing. The project is funded by IMDA under the Digital for Life Initiative and operates at the national level.

This successful candidate will lead a team to conceptualise content, build partnerships and deliver talks and seminars through outreach programmes in primary, secondary, tertiary schools, as well as IHLs.

Content Development
  • Lead development of content and materials for talks and seminars
  • Research and develop strategies for effective engagement of the different age groups.
  • Conceptualise and develop materials for the training of volunteer leaders via TTT
Partnerships
  • Identify and pursue opportunities and collaborations with Schools and IHLs for meeting project funding requirements
  • Work closely with the internal CARE team to synergise opportunities for cross-team collaboration.
Operations
  • Manage the process with finance for the purchasing of approved items in line with the budget and limits.
  • Ensure safe and proper storage of items purchased and transported for use at talks.
Administration
  • Responsible for timely reporting to IMDA based on reporting requirements
  • Ensure that name lists of attendees and data needed for any other supporting documents are managed in accordance with PDPA.
  • Lead the team to create and maintain a database of members who sign up
Job Requirements
  • Recognised degree.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience, of which at least 2 years in a management capacity
  • Prior experience in managing community projects or volunteers will be an advantage, and a track record can be an advantage
  • Experience developing content for talks and projects involving youths and young people.
  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
