Overview

What the role is: You manage Human Resource Administration (HRA) functions and awards administration for Army units and guide a team through MINDEF/SAF's digital transformation journey.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the administration of awards including Good Conduct and Service Medals
  • Guide a team in embracing technology as part of MINDEF/SAF's digital transformation journey
  • Determine key areas for training intervention to enhance team competencies and capabilities
  • Collaborate closely with Personnel Nodes in supporting Human Resource Administration functions for tenant units in Army camps
  • Ensure despatch support administration is provided to customers
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance service delivery efficiency
  • Challenge(s): Managing unpresented medals effectively
  • Challenge(s): Engaging resourcefully with units and NSmen to facilitate medal collection
  • Challenge(s): Exercising service excellence and gathering feedback on processes
Qualifications
  • Education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Relevant experience in HR operations, administration, and team management is advantageous
  • Knowledge of employee experience management, HR policies, process and legislation, competency framework development and application, and customer experience and service design would be advantageous
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities with proven ability to drive digital transformation initiatives
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Problem-solving abilities and resourcefulness
