Job summary

Job description
What the role is:

You will be responsible to support the development and implementation of the SkillsFuture Mid-Career Training Allowance (TA), a strategic national initiative aimed at enhancing support for mid-career workers to upskill and reskill to stay competitive and relevant amidst a rapidly changing economy. This role involves case management of enquiries and appeals while overseeing comprehensive administrative and operational duties. You will plan and execute meetings, workshops, and briefings, and maintain effective communication systems. The role requires strong organisational and coordination skills to manage public engagement activities and stakeholder relationships, ensuring successful delivery of the TA scheme to beneficiaries.

What you will be working on:
Role and responsibilities:
  • Independently manage and coordinate meetings, workshops and briefings across all levels, including taking comprehensive meeting minutes, documenting key decisions and action items, and prompt distribution of minutes to all participants
  • Design effective presentation materials and engagement content
  • Oversee end-to-end logistics and propose process improvements
  • Review and enhance TA knowledge management systems including development of and updating of FAQs and operational guidelines
  • Implement quality control measures for documentation processes, and establish documentation standards and best practices
  • Establish and maintain up-to-date communication materials to proliferate awareness of the TA initiative
  • Liaise with team members and relevant divisions for query resolution, and handle complex stakeholder queries and escalations
  • Provide timely updates to participants on resolved queries
  • Lead the development of standardised response templates
  • Coordinate responses to public enquiries and stakeholder feedback
  • Leverage data analytics to drive the preparation of comprehensive progress reports
  • Develop regular reports on programme performance and budget utilisation
What we are looking for:
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrated experience and strong competency in administrative and operations management, communications, problem solving and analytics.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Commitment to maintaining accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.

Successful candidates will be offered a 1-year contract with potential for a 1-year extension and consideration for permanent tenure thereafter.

SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) is a statutory board under the Ministry of Education (MOE). It will drive and coordinate the implementation of the national SkillsFuture movement, promote a culture and holistic system of lifelong learning through the pursuit of skills mastery, and strengthen the ecosystem of quality education and training in Singapore.
