Job description

The duties of an Manager are extensive and include:

  • Strategy & Planning: Developing and executing e-commerce strategies to drive sales growth and align online operations with overall business objectives.
  • Website Management: Overseeing the design, functionality, and user experience (UX) of the website or online marketplace presence. This includes managing product listings, descriptions, images, and pricing to be appealing and accurate.
  • Marketing & Promotions: Planning and implementing digital marketing initiatives, such as search engine optimization (SEO), email marketing, and social media campaigns, to drive traffic and attract new customers.
  • Inventory & Order Fulfillment: Coordinating with logistics and fulfillment teams to ensure accurate inventory levels, prompt order processing, and efficient handling of returns.
  • Data Analysis: Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) and customer behavior data (e.g., sales, conversion rates, traffic) to identify trends, pinpoint areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Customer Service: Collaborating with customer service teams to ensure high customer satisfaction, promptly address complaints, and manage online reviews.
  • Team Leadership: Managing the e-commerce team, which can include copywriters, web designers, and analysts, by setting goals, delegating tasks, and organizing training.
  • Financial Oversight: Performing financial planning, managing the e-commerce budget, tracking expenditures, and ensuring profitability.
