Job description
Purpose of the Role:

As a Management Trainee, you will be involved in the sales and marketing of a wide spectrum of banking products and services to meet the financial, property and protection needs of small‑medium‑enterprises (SME). Products include commercial property management and loans, trade facilities, business loans, asset‑based financing, business protection etc. Your specific responsibilities include:

Key Roles & Responsibilities (Business Development, Research, Strategy and Planning)
  • Solicit and develop new working relationships, warm lead referrals from existing customers and/or network
  • Partake in sales and marketing activities in generating prospects
  • Market company’s suite of financial products to potential customers.
  • Provide prudent financial, property and protection solutions to meet the needs of SME customers
  • Customer relationship management to spot new business opportunities, understand customers’ requirements, structure deal and proper evaluation of credit risks to achieve a balance stance for the customer
  • Identify, develop, and implement marketing strategies to maintain competitiveness
  • Ensure proper advisory procedures and documentation while adhering to MAS policies, business processes and regulatory requirements (i.e. FAA, AML, CDD, KYC and other related statutory Acts)
Job Requirements
  • Good Working Attitude & Ethics will be strongly considered
  • Experience with Insurance, Property, Direct Sales Welcome!
  • Diploma/Degree in Accountancy/Business Administration/Banking & Finance will be an added advantage
  • Exposure to corporate lending/credit will be an added advantage
  • Strong acquisition skills and confidence to do well under pressure
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Results-oriented, dynamic and self‑driven
  • Competent in engaging and managing internal and external clients
  • Proven ability to exceed sales target
