Job summary

A leading engineering services provider in Singapore is seeking an experienced engineer to support Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul activities. Responsibilities include providing engineering solutions, failure analysis, and creating documentation. The role requires a degree/diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering, Solidworks skills, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the automotive or aerospace industry.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive or aerospace maintenance-related industry.
  • Ability to present ideas clearly.
  • Class 3 driving license is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering solutions for Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul activities.
  • Perform failure analysis and troubleshooting.

Job Description
  • Provide engineering solution & support to business division on Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul activities
  • Render support, service to perform failure analysis, troubleshooting and re-engineering of product and systems, that would include design, prototyping and testing of products
  • Create product and project documentation, and to convey effective instructions to technicians or user
  • Work closely with other electrical / mechanical engineers on design or development matters
  • Support initiatives to apply technical or innovative solutions to better work process
Job Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical/ Mechatronics Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical/ Mechatronics Engineering with at least 5 years of working experience automotive or aerospace maintenance related industry
  • Possess basic understanding of hydraulic/mechanical systems for vehicle platforms
  • Ability to read and understand technical / electrical drawings
  • Equipped with Solidworks Software skills for 3D Modelling and Drafting. Candidates awarded with Solidworks CSWA/CSWP a plus.
  • Possess knowledge in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) an advantage
  • Good interpersonal & communication skills
  • Ability to present ideas, approach, and objectives clearlyOccasional local travelling may be expected
  • Possess Class 3 driving licence an advantage
