Job summary

A manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking a Maintenance Section Manager to oversee maintenance functions within its Technical Department. The ideal candidate will lead Environment, Health, and Safety initiatives, manage electrical work, and administer the budget for the Maintenance Section. Candidates should possess a diploma in engineering and have significant experience in safety protocols and people management. Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with ISO Management systems are preferred.

  • At least 5 years of experience in a related position.

  • Position Title: Maintenance Section Manager
  • Working Location: Tuas
  • Working Hours: 5 Days (Mon – Fri, 8.30AM – 5.30PM)
  • Salary Package: Basic Salary + Transport & Mobile Allowance + AWS + VB
  • Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the Maintenance Section within the Technical Department.
  • Lead the company's Environment, Health, and Safety initiatives.
  • Plan and oversee maintenance functions within the company’s facilities.
  • Responsible for managing electrical work within the organization.
  • Maintain and update all technical schematics, risk assessments, and FMEA within the department.
  • Administer the budget for the Maintenance Section.
  • Engage in both internal and external audits.

  • Minimum Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in managing Environment, Health, and Safety protocols.
  • Strong capability in people management.
  • Holding a LEW license is preferable; or minimally must have a basic understanding of electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with ISO Management systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) and experience in auditing these systems.
  • Competence in Risk Assessment and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
  • Ability to use AutoCAD software for updating technical drawings.
