Duties & Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement corrective actions.
- Utilize diagnostic tools like multimeters and thermal imaging to identify faults.
- May be involved in installing and maintaining other electrical components like circuit breakers and transformers.
- Assisting with routine maintenance on air conditioning systems (cleaning filters, checking refrigerant levels), troubleshooting basic AC problems, and potentially assisting with installations.
- Carry out general repairs and maintenance of building facilities, including general cleaning, plumbing, carpentry, and equipment servicing.Carry out scheduled inspections and preventivemaintenance across multiple sites to ensure facilities are in good workingcondition.
- Respond promptly to emergency callouts,ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to operations.
- Ensure safe driving practices and compliancewith traffic regulations when traveling between Centres
Experience/ Skills:
- Minimum NITEC / Higher NITEC / in Electrical, Mechanical, Facilities Management, or related field.
- At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in facilities or equipment maintenance.
- Hands-on skills in electrical, air-conditioning, plumbing, and general repair works are essential.
- Previous experience in cleaning industry and upkeep duties will be considered an added advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret simple technical drawings and manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ensure all work complies with workplace safety, health, and building regulations.
- Willing to work independently or in a team, with flexibility for emergency call-ins or weekend duties if required.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with internal staff and external contractors.
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and a good team player.
- Possessing a valid Class 3 driving license preferred, though those without a license are also welcome to apply.
