Job summary
A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a maintenance technician to perform inspections and maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems. Candidates should possess a Nitec in Engineering and have at least 3 years of relevant experience. This role requires shift work and commitment to customer service standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in operations and maintenance management of mechanical & electrical services in commercial buildings.
- Basic knowledge of VSD operation.
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment/installations.
- Fill out servicing reports and keep records.
- Attend to on-site M&E breakdown and emergency situations.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers.

Job Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment/installations and general inspections of the buildings, consistent with industrial practices and compliance to health and safety standards.
- Fill out servicing reports and keep records on services that have been performed.
- Attend to on-site M&E breakdown and emergency situation, and report/escalation of the incident to management/Call-centre.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers including explaining issues with equipment and repairs to users.
- Any other ad hoc duties assigned by Management.
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Nitec in Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
