Job Summary

The Project Engineer assists the Project Manager in the planning, coordination, and supervision of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works. The role is responsible for site supervision, monitoring work progress, preparing progress reports, and ensuring that all activities are executed safely, accurately, and according to the project schedule and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning and coordinating daily project activities.
  • Supervise site work to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety rules.
  • Monitor progress and prepare daily/weekly reports.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
  • Assist in preparing work schedules, method statements, and documentation.
  • Check and verify material deliveries and workmanship quality.
  • Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
  • Highlight issues early and assist in resolving site problems.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 2–5 years of experience in electrical construction preferred (LV/HV/ELV is an advantage).
  • Basic knowledge of electrical installation, testing, and commissioning.
  • Able to read and understand technical drawings.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage deadlines.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office and basic project tools.
