M&E Manager – Data Centre Projects (A1 Main Contractor) - JWY

Our client is a well-established A1 main contractor with a strong track record across major building and infrastructure projects in Singapore. With an existing and growing data centre portfolio, they are seeking an experienced M&E Manager to lead the M&E delivery of mission‑critical projects.

This is a senior, site-based role with full ownership of the M&E scope, working closely with internal teams, specialist contractors, and client‑appointed vendors to drive successful project delivery through to Ready for Service (RFS).

Key Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the planning, coordination, and execution of M&E works for data centre projects.
• Lead in‑house M&E coordinators, BIM teams, supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Manage M&E contract administration, programme planning, installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Identify design, technical, and delivery risks, providing solutions and value engineering inputs.
• Interface with clients, consultants, authorities, and third‑party vendors to ensure seamless coordination.
• Chair coordination meetings and manage interfaces across multiple stakeholders.
• Ensure timely reporting, documentation, and progress updates to senior management.
• Support BIM/VDC processes for effective design and construction coordination.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of M&E experience, preferably with an A1 main contractor.
• Proven track record completing multiple full project cycles, with data centre or mission‑critical project experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems, coordination, and commissioning in complex projects.
• Solid leadership, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Comfortable working on projects located in either the East or West of Singapore.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to Johor Bahru or Kuala Lumpur to support regional data centre projects.
