Job summary

A leading civil contracting firm in Singapore seeks an M&E Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of the M&E department. Our client is one of Singapore’s leading A1 civil contracting firm which has a strong construction portfolio in government and public sector projects. They are looking for a M&E Manager to manage healthcare /

Job Description:
  • Oversees and monitors overall day to day operations of M&E department
  • Oversees the preparation and interpretation of M&E shop drawings and ensuring it is adhered according to the specifications and engineering calculations.
  • Conducting site inspection, quality checks and method statement
  • Identifying variation works and submit detailed cost implications to Contracts Manager
  • Supervise and control sub-contractors to carry out their works in accordance with the M&E drawings and specifications
  • Liaise with authorities (e.g: BCA, SCDF, PUB, SP) for submissions, inspections, and approvals
  • Analyze and interpretation of reports on loading, labour, productivity, quality, materials and performance.
  • Review monthly reports on M&E activities and report to management.
  • Identify drawing discrepancies or flaws and constantly track construction progress and schedule on-site supervision
Requirements:
  • Min Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical recognized by PE Board
  • Min 8 years of relevant experience in construction industry and managed complex construction projects such as factory / warehouse / industrial etc
  • Demonstrates strong technical competence and excellent time management skills
